Our handmade Espadrilles are traditional casual flat or high-heeled shoes with cotton canvas and jute soles originating from a small village in northern Spain, close to the Basque region. The term “espadrille” is French and derives from espardenya, which derives from espart, the Catalan name for esparto, a tough, wiry Mediterranean grass used in making rope. In Spain they call them "alpargatas".
By adding a touch of contemporary style, we present a range of traditionally crafted products that carry a certain joie de vivre.
